Been out of the loop for a while. Recently underwent a meniscus refresh, and off my feet for an extended time. Surgery went down on 20FEB, so been limited to no weight bearing on my bad knee for roughly 4 weeks. Won't have another evaluation with my surgeon for another 2 weeks, so a total of 8 weeks at a minimum on the crutches. Stacking parts here and there, mostly gonna focus on getting our 100 series on the road, prior to diving into the
old 1E3 Daily First Gen Tundra.

Dude! Hope you heal up quickly and fully.

More parts came in to add to the stack. Bearing kit via Cruiser Outfitters, along with a new power steering pump from Toyota. Not being able to work on the car kinda has me reflecting on how much time I waste, and now motivated to get this one back on the road as soon as I’m cleared to get back on both legs.

In the spirit of spring cleaning, and wanting to clear out the garage a little bit, decided to make a little room by getting these wheels and tires out of the garage. Had my son get em on the truck for me, since I still cant do much. Rock Warrior Wheels from the wife’s 200 series wrapped in 285/70/17 Falken Rubitreks. Shoutout to @Luke M for squaring me away with the 3/4” spacers.

Started out as a bearing, brake, and ball joint job. Ended up finding some BS.

Little bit of grease leaking out the passenger CV.

Found damaged dust seal, with the relief for the ABS sensor caved in.

End of the sensor damage. Gonna try and run it, since I wasn’t getting any lights on the dash prior to pulling it.

I found it odd the seal was missing a bolt, only to find it the head was sheared off. Gotta get it extracted.

She’s on all 4 wheels now. Knocked out the driver’s side CV, Seal, upper/lower ball joints, flange, rotors and pads last night and took my wife and daughter on a test drive to Dairy Queen. Ran smoothly, got her up to speed to bed the brakes.

It’s not a million degrees today with a million percent humidity I got the car in the the garage to re-torque everything, even managed to fit my spare under there. Did an oil change, since it’s been basically sitting for a little under 2 years.

I did notice a class 2 leak from the front diff on the driver side, thinking I set the seal in to deep. Imma let it ride for now, and get to it when i pull the steering rack later. I just want to get it on the road to get inspected and registered.
