I have about 4500 miles on my set of 35s now. No noticeable wear, noise is good. They look and have performed well. Recently after 40 miles of gravel. I run them at 33psi.
I will say they toss some Rocks as to be expected.
I concur with @clrussell. I will have a more extended trip coming up in a couple months where I'll be putting a few thousand highway miles as well as a few weeks' worth of offroading miles (Ouray, Moab, and whatever other backroad / forest service roads we feel like). I'm really looking forward to seeing how these tires perform across all the different abusive terrains.
Also, although the appearance is obviously less important than performance, these tires look freaking amazing in person.
I've run 255/85/17's on my 80 series for like 5K miles and I'm really happy with the tire. Since it's my DD, I wanted to stay with A/T, but wanted lots of traction.
Road Noise — seems right between normal A/T and M/T. Noise is quiet but noticeable on the highway or with the windows down without music on. May be different for 200 series experience with 200 based on how much soundproofing you all have.
Snow Traction — fantastic. I had no trouble driving on both powder and parking lot packed snow at highway PSI (~33 cold). If I aired down, I imagine it would live up to 3-peak rating easily.
Trails — This is where I've done the least testing (sad...I know). On easy trails with gravel, and some larger rocks...I had traction the entire time. No issues with sidewalls but I haven't pushed them hard enough to find their limits.
...and they do look cool so that's like 90% of the answer.
Bumping this up to see how people are liking these tires. I’m looking at the 255/85/17 which is a skinny 34.6” tire. I’m concerned they may be a bit too big for the KDSS up front and don’t want to create a situation where I have to mod anything to make them work. I’ve been very happy with 285/75/17 and am also considering the Falken RT in that size to replace my Ridge Grapplers that have seen better days.
I'm in an LX, so no KDSS issues, but I've been running 285/75r18 (34.8") Nitto Terra Grappler for a year and a half and they fit quite nicely--I just never liked the look.
Just ordered the Baja Boss AT in 35x12.5x17, but probably won't get a chance to mount them up until next week. I read some very positive snow reviews, and of course, they look great, plus a 119/D load rating will hopefully ride a little better than my 128/E Nittos, so that's what sold me. I've been trying hard to toughen up the soccer van image, and even 35" Nittos didn't do much to help

don't do it - did you see my previous post about cracking 'sidebiters’?
Mickey's response was to "not air down". I'm pretty sure Cole yolo'd and aired down at LCDC (in hopes that we had a bad batch the first time), and they got damaged again.

I've been pushing the limits on getting new tires. I have an old set of TOYO ATII's on 20" wheels that are asking to be changed but since I use the vehicle just on weekends (company vehicle for daily) right now, I am in no rush. I have a set of 18" Alpha Equips sitting in my garage waiting for new tires.
I will probably go with a 295/70/18. I have been waiting on more info to come out on the new KO3's and Toyo RT Trail's. The Kenda Klever is also in the mix. I was also looking at the Baja's to be in the mix but I don't think Radman is the first to have this kind of problem with them.
Mine worked great during our Ouray and Moab trip this summer. I did not experience any major side biter chunking, just a few nicks that I had to really search for afterwards to see (I was aware of the problems others have had, so I was constantly checking to see how the side biters were doing). I was aired down to 18 psi any time we weren't on pavement.
Quite possible that the people getting chunking were on rougher trails than me. I stayed on trails similar to Hell's Revenge and Alpine Loop (although Mineral Creek wasn't open yet), so nothing too crazy. If that's the level of trail (or less) that someone is looking at, then I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the MT Baja Boss AT.
I will also mention that I really enjoyed them as highway tires, too. I kept them more or less right at the specified psi for highway travel for my size. I thought they were relatively quiet (on par with much less aggressive tires), but of course that's a subjective opinion.
My set has about 17,000 miles on them currently.. just finished a 4100 mile trip And zero complaints.
Actually thinking of moving them over to my truck and putting the MT version on my 200. Just because I can and it’s about to see less daily duty I think.
