Awesome, its nice that you can admit that. I, on the other hand, am not a poser/mall crawler. I bought Method NV "brolocks" because they were 18", +25, and proven. It never crossed my mind that someone might think they were beadlocks. I couldn't care less. They are tough wheels. This is just one of my 5

Loved these wheels on both you LX and 200.

They just released these in a new offset of +35 in 17” They are basically the NV without bolt heads.

Wondering how the +35 offset would work out? Bet it would make 315s a little more bearable.

For a narrow tire I would prefer +20-25

+35 on 8.5 = 6.13 back space
+60 on 8 = 6.86 back space
So about 3/4” different than stock

+25 on 9 = 5.98 back space; only a subtle difference to +35 on 8.5

Very helpful comparison between the offset of the 18x9 vs 17x8.5

How do you feel about +18 on 18x9

I think thats pretty ideal- but depends on your lift if any and what width & height rubber you run if you plan to flex it

Same 275/70/18 ko2’s as you. 2866 coils and Ironman fcp’s all around. Factory tb’s. Probably try to jump to 285/70/18 when I need new ones

Good luck finding any Method 5x150 wheels at the moment- Method has almost nothing in stock- (most resellers just drop ship from method too) fact they’re out of a lot of wheel styles right now-

In all fairness, I really don’t consider the bolts on the Landcruiser’s to be alllll that bro. Its just seeing em all race past me on Silverado, f150’s, tundras and tacos with higher front ends...it’s more of a full package thing.
You mean guys running long travel kits with wide fenders? Those are 20k+ builds...

They might be "bros", but those trucks are being built to beat to s***, not driven to the mall.

No those are legit. I mean tundras and faux raptors with spacer lifts or California style higher in the front lifts

Not pre-runners, but its a DAF trend called Cali-Lean that’s over lifting front end, and lowering kit on back end to create a squat look- it’s not a functional mod it’s a “style” thing.

Thankfully I haven't seen this over in AZ... Im sure it exists but most prerunners I run into are legit builds.

Method recently debuted their 701s on Bahia Blue for the 100 series 5x150 (with the premise of using at least a 6mm slip on wheel spacer to clear the hub flange bolts)
•18x9 offset +25
•17x8.5 offset zero (0)

Member up here runs them in black - forgot the screen name. If this is you let us know if you used a spacer up front

I think there are many 100'S running these

I have 305’s - Use a hole saw in front cap to allow grease cap to poke through- or just run capless.

This is my rig. These are the 18x9 701 wheels with BFG KO2 35/12.5R18. I'm not running any spacers at this point, and from my research I shouldn't have to but I haven't been able to test that off road enough yet. I'm working with Bencc to create a cap for the front wheels.
