Got mine on Saturday and painted yesterday. The only difficult part for me was the front brackets were really tight behind my ahc lines so I just stepped on them and bent them slightly larger to slip over the frame a little easier. The instructions indicate that the driver side may be harder, but was easier for me after doing the passenger side. Very happy with them. Is there any difference between the powder coated ones and the raw steel ones other than the one isn't powder coated?
 
I have a 3yr old (pictured above) and a 6yr old. I have not mounted them yet but had her place her foot on them and looked at the position. These will be fine. I will have them up this weekend I hope and then I can tell you for sure.
