There's a road out behind our property - loggers came in a few years ago, cleared a bunch of trees and then did nothing. This area is notorious for getting budding new mudboggers stuck..we are at sea level here on the coast so it takes awhile for everything to dry out. About a month ago, I watched a kid in a red truck tearing through here going 30 mph. three hours laters, two Triple A tow trucks were stuck and a third had to pull all of them out..This mud today was nothing..but I came home from the store and saw a J**p stuck..and figured "what the hell" Came home, got my huz and his visiting dad. We all pile in Jane and this is what happened...

I think Jane is truly Legit now.:grinpimp:

Jane does Recovery

He was coming back, (One way in and out) never seen him before...it a small redneck neighborhood. Most people have no idea about the area. It's the 4th or 5th truck/Jeep the mud has claimed back there. The kid said he'd been there for almost 2 hours LoL
Rob made the other driver wade in the mud to hook them up. Kid had no idea what tow straps were or where to hook it up. .Luckily we had some straps. Go figure.

I don't think he was embarrassed..I think he was relieved!

Johnny , I sent you a PM asking your advice on something..

Great looking 40.

Thanks for posting. We had a similar story in wake forest one Sunday morning. Kid in his church clothes wheeling in a street tired Cherokee. He got stuck and had no recovery points. We made him wade in thigh deep muddy water in his church clothes and hook the strap around his rear axle. Pulled him out and sent him on his way. I believe the pull messed up the axle because on the way home we passed him and the axle was bouncing up and down. We asked several times before making the recovery about the attachment point. He was begging us to pull him out and said he did not care.

I hope you thought to tell them it would have cost more had you locked your hubs.:D

It's amazing how people will take rigs with no mods and balding street tires down a thing like that.

I'd have laughed at him and left him there :grinpimp:

Great vid

should have had him wrap the tow strap around the front bumper. :)

We actually giggled and considered that exact idea. Then the huz mentioned telling him to tie it to the Hood latch then kick it in reverse and keep on going.bahaha
