Measurement of HZJ77 front dash between vents? (1 Viewer)

Hey Guys,
Is there an HZJ77 owner who can supply me with the measurement from this photo (the yellow area)? I'm trying to source a head unit with a detached screen but don't want to cover an AC vent for the dash. My HZJ77 arrived at the port yesterday ; )

Going to be the same for any old style steel dash "narrow nose" 70 series, not just HZJ77.

@FJ73Texas at risk of stating the obvious, that PANASONIC is undoubtedly the coolest head unit ever made. VU meters pretty much make you next level... OMG!

@hiphip I've got a Sony Detached 9.5 inch screen in mine and my vents are unobstructed. I can find a pic if it'll help?

That is why I just leave it in there but there are days I do wish I had a stereo like yours installed.
