good evening lads
been thinking about planning a supercharger on the 3RZ and that brings up the question on beefing up the transmission and everything in between
if toyoDIY is right then my rig(rj77) came with the G52 which probably will shatter if i add any boost to the engine
searching around it seems no one has mated the beefier transmission from the bigger land cruisers mainly the H series to the 4cyls
while going with an R series would be logical but i dont want to baby it one bit(think dropping the clutch tier abuse) so having something overbuilt is a nice piece of mind

have you lads seen anyone do it? how much fabrication was needed? do you need a custom aftermarket clutch? and could you stick with OEM toyota parts
any input is appreciated and if there is anything wrong with this plan please point out

ill have to add id like to avoid any aftermarket consumable parts not because of reliability but because of availability

seen anyone mate a 3rz to the H seriestransmissions ? @coldtaco

I don’t see why an R150 wouldn’t work, there are lots of performance upgrades available for them. People run them behind turbo 1JZ setups and 1UZ V8 conversions.

Look up BIG4 Conversions on Facebook. He's making lots of different adapter plates.
