It's awesome!I just ordered this kit.

I dont want to touch up every time I get an alignmentPipe wrench
Just use rustoleum gloss black and touch up after alignment., its what I do....powder coating way to expensive, you are overthinking this..I dont want to touch up every time I get an alignment
Sent out few inquiries for powder coating in Sacramento. Lmk if anyone knows any cheap powder coating places
You would be surprised1. You will never be sitting on your deck enjoying the sunset looking at your beautiful tie rod.
That just depends how the kit is put in. The left hand thread part has a groove cut in on that side. The left hand thread can be on either side of the steering-to-steering arm.Anyone have one of these kits handy... not installed... wanted to confirm the Left vs Right hand side rod end (for the tie rod)
Edit: I really want to confirm which tie rod end should be setting in the driver side tie rod end hole.
i dont get it, why bother powder coating it since the minute you take it out on the dirt it will be scratched up and will need to be touched up by rattle can....My steering alignment is most certainly off by a few degree and will need to be adjusted with a pipe wrench...unless you plan on taking it off for powder coat more than a few times a yr.I dont want to touch up every time I get an alignment

Idk why do you shower and put clean clothes on (im assuming here) if you gonna get dirty and possible scratched up anywayi dont get it, why bother powder coating it since the minute you take it out on the dirt it will be scratched up and will need to be touched up by rattle can....My steering alignment is most certainly off by a few degree and will need to be adjusted with a pipe wrench...unless you plan on taking it off for powder coat more than a few times a yr.
Its actually a great question. Im doing it less by the week.Idk why do you shower and put clean clothes on (im assuming here) if you gonna get dirty and possible scratched up anyway
is that even a valid comparison? lol. U said u dont want to scratch up your shinny link from alignment, what about everytime after you wheel? dont you have to adjust and possibly need to touch up on the paint? Unless you have a mall crawler, then why are you upgrading to HD drag link? lol makes zero sense.Idk why do you shower and put clean clothes on (im assuming here) if you gonna get dirty and possible scratched up anyway
I can tell this greatly bothers you, i wasn’t going to powder coat it if i couldn’t get the notches machined in time. Which i didn’t, so it ended up being spray painted.is that even a valid comparison? lol. Oh this is great! Mine came non powder coated and I regret installing them, hindsight being 20/20, I should have taken the time to get them powder coated. Clean it up with a slight rust patina. I ended up rubbing some spilled GL5 diff fluid on them and that seemed to put them in a pretty good state.UPDATE: I also ordered this (a year ago) from Marlin and had mine powder coated. Local place charged $75 (I am sure I got ripped off but supporting small businesses) came out well (has some sand in the powder coating but oh well)
Will post up how they hold up.
Question: there is a side with a ring around it, is that for the driver side?
