I'm not known for having sales, but the warehouse fire has left me in rather unique circumstances. Being the circumspect person I am, I realized that this would be a good opportunity to do some consolidation. At the moment I am more motivated by a lack of space than a lack of funds, so to be frank I am most interested in moving along larger pieces, but I am more than happy to sell most of what I have, especially as package deals. The unobtanium that is usually 'off the table' will still be off the table.
The sale will last for two days, Saturday November 12, and Sunday November 13th. This will be a physical, on-site sale as well as a telephonic and internet sale. Official sale times will be from 7am PST to 4pm PST on both days. The Saturday sale will be conducted at the warehouse in North Hollywood, the Sunday sale at my shop in Burbank.
For my MUD customer's, I suggest you start going through all my classifieds postings for the 12 years I've been chatting away here. If they are not marked sold, I may still have them. I might also have another of the same, albeit, maybe not at the same price.
Also keep in mind that my online catalog only represents about 20% of my inventory. I have a TON of stuff I've never bothered cataloguing or posting. It's one of the many things I figured I'd get around to, but haven't.
IF you would be so kind, please bump the old threads with your inquiries, and any offers you'd like to make. And if you'd paste links from them to this thread, that would be very helpful too. You are welcome to start making inquiries as of this posting.
I will be posting some new stuff between now and the sale as well.
On the two sales days, I will be giving the highest priority to on-site customers with cash. I will have no phone service on Saturday. For the telephone and internet customers, most of the deals may be only partially consummated, as I probably won't be able to calculate shipping in real-time. I'll have you pay me for the parts via paypal FRIENDS AND FAMILY to 65swb45@earthlink.net. Then I'll have my shipping manager [my wife!] help me figure out shipping costs on the stuff and get back to you a day or two after the sale.
Keep in mind that I am human. It's pretty likely that I will not be able to get back to everyone that contacts me electronically during the sale. You might want to consider contacting me earlier to reserve things that I only have limited quantities of. Also, being human, I am less likely to wheel and deal as the weekend progresses and I become 'fat and happy' with sales. So you might want to get a head start on putting together a deal before the sale.
The $80 minimum order still applies on mail order sales. Walk-ups at my discretion. If you want something less than $80, find someone local who can pick it up, box and ship for you.
SATURDAY LOCATION: 10749 CHANDLER BLVD, NORTH HOLLYWOOD, 91601
As always, I thank one and all who continue to support me. I don't have a pension plan, a 401k, stocks, or anything else. I have a building full of parts and a good pair of hands. My present and my future livelihood consists of what I make selling parts and servicing vintage Landcruisers. It's worked for 26 years, and I hope it will continue to do so for many years to come.
