Of course it is... I'm in California the 8th and 9th of March. That sucks! I was really looking forward to FINALLY getting down to the Tucson area for some wheeling and trail maintenance. I hope that we still get some good CSC participation on this.

Alvin, could you get with Tucson Off-road to see if there's anything I can do to help out logistically even though I won't be able to get down there? i'd like to lend a hand where I can.

After I get thru inventory this week, I'll get with Kyle to see what we need to do and how we can help with the pre-cleanup stuff.

Someone's going to need to shoot me a map.

When we get closer, meet place, time, etc, are set there will be a map in this thread.:D

Once everthing gets finalized at our february meeting, i will post up all the info along with a map.

I can drum up support for this amoung FJ Cruiser folks over on AZFJ.org... I'm sure quite a few will come out, it looks like we're going to have a good showing for the Four Peaks cleanup this weekend.

I just sent Kyle a PM to see what he needs from me on this project.

I'd love to come and help out. I've been running the trail for years but have been wanting to go out with a Cruiser group.

Geez, all these people getting together in Phx and Tucson for trail cleanups - almost makes me sad that the trails up here are already clean...

(sigh)

You can come down and help out so you don't have to be sad, or lonely Cody...

I for one am still working on my wife (since the cleanup day is our anniversary) on being in attendance.

If you guys don't mind all post this info on the four peaks pickup blog. Can you shoot me over any other info you'd like in the post.
Thanks for doing this guys!!! I love that trail!

What you've got here is all the info I have so far Tim. I'll try to check out Tucson Offroads forum later and see if there is more info.

We need you to play like Bigfoot with those tires of yours. We'll pile it up and you can crush it!

Hey everyone! We got everything finalized at our meeting last night. Here is the info that we have posted on our site.

The run will be held on Saturday March 8th and will consist of running both the main trail and the lower loop. Only one sign has been destroyed and will be removed. The sign has been run over, shot several times and had the Lowtech plate removed and has been seen on the back of a black jeep here in Tucson. We will be adding American flag stickers to the remaining signs which appear in good condition. We are expecting a bunch of rigs on this run and may break it into two groups if necessary. We are also expecting Roger's kin to be joining us along with others from Copper State Cruisers and several other clubs. For this reason we would like people to post up if they are planning to go so we might get an idea of how many will be attending; and will make plans and start times accordingly. Due to the high expected number of rigs attending and the length of the run, please expect to be spending the majority of the day on the trail. This is a great event, we welcome all who wish to participate, and we are proud to hold it in Roger Krause's honor. Look forward to seeing all you on the trail.

As of right now we are planning on meeting at the last Circle K on Tanque Verde (Map) at 7:30am and leaving at 8:30am sharp. Depending on how many rigs we have in attendance we may break up into multiple groups and start times. Once we have a good idea of how many folks will be attending I will update the start times and groups.

As far as trash cleanup goes, the majority of the trail is fairly clean. The worst part is right at Three Feathers at the start of the trail.

If you are planning on attending please post up in this thread or the thread for the run at our site (Thread on our site)

I will also post up by this weekend if we need trash bags or any other supplies.

Thanks
Kyle
