Regarding Man-A-Fre: I purchased a basic Garvin grille guard, specified for a 93-97, but that was incorrect. It only fit a 91-92. What did they do? They gave me the grille guard, free.
Yeah sorry about that whole thing, unfortunately the manufacturer had mislabeled both of the boxes for those bumpers. I am glad we were able to help you out! Steve.
Yeah I know you asked to have them put in back, my mechanic accidentaly threw them out, sorry again. Dont worry though, I did let it go. What do you mean by make a contribution to this site? Steve.
Hi Steve- I think he means contributing to IH8MUD monetarily- either by purchasing a premium membership (which I still need to do!)- checkout: https://forum.ih8mud.com/subscriptions.php?
Alright, so I guess mattorton isn't a whiny b!tch afterall - some good came out of this. I still think he should have looked in the back of his cruiser before he drove off if he asked them to put the sway bars in there-
I have bought some stuff from man-a-fre for my FJ40 and never had a problem. I also bought an OME Lift and Sliders from Christo with no problems. A lot of times it's the people in the shop that can set a tone and leave a good or bad taste in someones mouth despite the owners intention. Living in Denver I never had the opportunity to use Man-a-fres shop, but I have used Christo's. Christo has some good people, most of all Robbie makes Christo look damn good. You should give Robbie a raise. Christo is pretty good on his own though.
I have a lot of respect for Christo and Steve for coming on here and letting people throw spears and trying to work through things.
Steve, you should at least get a vendor star like Cdan and Christo. You could post in the vender section and probably make your money back. This comment isn't like the one on Pirate a few months ago, I am not saying you have to or your "blank" if you don't, but having another reputable vendor on board would be good for the forum. You have a lot of great parts for other than the 80 series.
