Dude!! Sell the stocker to me and buy JP's that's already built. Don't forget about the new guy!

Seriously, get in touch...

Yep, JP's is definitely built. But I know where its been . . . . and i've seen pictures.

I'd rather take a stocker that has been maintained for 200k and build it up, that way I spend my money on goodies, rather than on things that may have been overlooked by a PO . . . like voltage regulators, rollbars, fuel, footwear . . . . (JP, I have way too much fun at your expense. The beer is on me if I make it to Cullowhee)

Update on suspension:

I have asked Steve (POSER) at LCRSW (sp) for a quote on Dakar heavies.

I trust you JP. I would rather see you out barefoot in sharp rocks welding up something broken than me trying to do it alone.

I am good as long as I never have to touch those feet! :)

hehe........ thanks for the vote of confidence matt :D........... now come wheeling with us

Yeah, me too. I'm looking forward to the process. I'll find one eventually. Otherwise, the wife will have to get used to driving the 100 that gets pinstriped on the weekends. :grinpimp:

I figure, if nothing else, I'll put some sliders and ATs on it. That'll at least allow me to get it dirty every once in a while.

The ride at Ceaser's a few weeks ago got my feet wet--even if I was a passenger.

Have fun with the build.

I thought about doing the 100 instead of the 62 . . .

but I have to drive something to work, and the 100 still has about 3 times the value of a straight 62 (although it too is nearing 200k). The 100 has factory rear lockers, which would be a bonus. iI am trying to use the 62 as a learning tool, doing a little more both mechanically and off road with hopefully not too extreme of consequences if I f%k it up.

JP, little bro, don't be mad, I am just having fun with ya! :grinpimp: I also hope I never have to be pulled out or upright by you or anyone else (more fun).

I know it is all good fun; I was just playing along :D........ I will always have a tow strap with your name on it :grinpimp:

I will always have a beer with your name on it . . .

you are 21, right? :D

J-Bo - if you can make PPR I have a spare seat...

I'd love to be there but these things were scheduled before I became a member, therefore I wasn't able to argue about having to work. I'll be around as much as possible. Thanks for the offer!

Later,

J-Bo
