This is great to know.
I'm to the point where I sometimes need to assist and "pull" the sunroof closed and as the motor closes it otherwise it will stop midway and open again.

did you happen to reset the gx by ways of power loss or replaced a new battery? Some vehicles need a reinitialization of the sunroof.

IMO.. behavior of r2m’s sunroof is indicative of a lubrication and/or motor issue. If contamination cleanup in the track or motor doesn’t fix he may need to purchase another motor.

I have replaced the batteries (dual batteries) but it was working fine.
I know it's getting tired because it's slow and kind of noisy sounding when it opens and closes.
It's probably on it's last days, but hopefully, will last a few more years. I keep it open almost all the time since I have my RTT overhead covering it, nothing ever drops in, e.g.: rain, leaves, bugs etc. so it's always open which is nice in the Summer as it lets all the heat vent and is never too hot inside. Heat, the number killer of interiors.

Although I've sprayed lube in there, I may need to try and blow out the rails and all with my compressor, then finger in some lithium grease on the rails.

Anyone have any experience with the now Lexus cat shield PTN5960101 from their Lexus Aftermarket Program (looks very similar to the millercat version)? I was going to pick up some talons garage since it effectively hides the cat.
