I don't have that for sure

I am thinking of upgrading the sound system. Probably Alpine R2-S65C in the front and R2-S65 in the rear.

This is the factory front speaker

No, I am in Australia
wonder if one could order that part# hmm. You guys have a lot of cool parts over there. I just saw on ozbestdealz a pair of 300 series style headlights for the 100 series. Looks so good

This one look about right? $22.98?!
This actually works very nicely. No trimming needed. just need to drill new screw holes and use longer screws

Going to be tackling this soon with that same sub, what were the mods you had to make?
Hello just had to grind or break off some of the ribbing inside the enclosure for it to fit. I would also do the same to the sub cover to avoid any rattling. The sub sounds great and hits quite hard for such a small package.

I followed these instructions

Bought the sub from here.

It's stated in the video but make sure you wire the sub in sequence to make it the 4 ohm necessary to be compatible with the ML sub.

Awesome, thank you! Going to save to watch before I tackle the job. Doesn't sound to bad.

I picked up a 2006 LX 2 weeks ago, and it had a pretty bad sub rattle. Oddly enough, the previous owner had the whole sub replaced at Lexus for almost $1000 parts+labor just 3 years ago.

I bought the foam repair kit, took the sub apart, and it looked just fine. I actually had to fight the foam on it a bit to get it off, it was pretty firm. After replacing the foam with the SimplySpeakers kit, it does sound better but it didn't completely eliminate the sub rattle, it just raised the volume level at which it happened.

Looks like a Skar sub is in my future

Could be something else that's rattling. Wires, fasteners, trim panels, etc....

I'd make sure your sub isn't smacking that panel it's behind like TahoeZ said; after replacing my ML with a Skar I still needed to find a way to add a little more space there
