I am thinking of upgrading the sound system. Probably Alpine R2-S65C in the front and R2-S65 in the rear.
Not sure about your LX, however with the Mark Levinson systems S50 (130mm) is (almost) a drop-in. I put in a Audio System 130CO with very little tweaking needed to fit.

I replaced mine with the Skar Audio sub. It was just about plug and play with some very minor mods.
Going to be tackling this soon with that same sub, what were the mods you had to make?
Hello just had to grind or break off some of the ribbing inside the enclosure for it to fit. I would also do the same to the sub cover to avoid any rattling. The sub sounds great and hits quite hard for such a small package.

It's stated in the video but make sure you wire the sub in sequence to make it the 4 ohm necessary to be compatible with the ML sub.
