alright so i have been chasing this down for a while, and its kind of driving me nuts. The car drives great, and is very smooth except for small bumps, like if you are offroading over small bumps (graded roads) it feels like it will rattle your teeth out, doing the same roads in a different vehicle, it does not do that and the small bumps are absorbed by the suspension.

I got my AHC to middle of the road spec in terms of pressures, globes are good, good graduations etc.

I then learned about the steering angle sensor locking up some solenoid in the suspension to help with vehicle stability etc (vsc). When the turn the car on it reads 1150, but once i go above like 25mph it starts to read, and it reads correctly.

there is an item in the VSC section of the datalist that says "solenoid relay" and it basically always says on, i am unsure if maybe this is the solenoid that makes the suspension a rough ride or not, any help would be appreciated. It does stay on, did the "active test" that lets you turn it off, it goes off for a second, then back on.

I am almost thinking that maybe this is just the way the suspension is since i have bigger, heavier tires (~33" nitto terra grappler g2's @44psi)

Following, this is interesting. As an initial experiment, I would air down to 25mph and drive for a mile just to see how it feels.

i air down to 12-15psi and it does help a lot but i still feel it should be absorbed by the suspension, i dont air down for small graded roads etc, just when i get to a spot that i know ill be off road for a good portion and i need the grip.

Just not sure if this is how it is supposed to be, considering in other vehicles i off-road in, the small deep bumps dont feel like this.

Dumb question, but just to be clear: the console suspension adjuster knob is set to "COMFORT" and not "SPORT," correct?

You can calibrate steering angle in tech stream. In VGRS IIRC.

As we turn sensor input works the Gates Valve which is in "control valve assembly". Found on inside frame rail center, under DS "B" pillar. To dampen body roll. Same as when we brake, so we don't dip front end.

Don't know "I got my AHC to middle of the road spec in terms of pressure" what you means. Buy once pressure within spec. Drive over speed bump. One side at a time. See if one side smooth ride other side rough ride. If so, then try to determine front or rear. Also make note; if fluid in reservoir seems a bit lower than you set it at.

You may have a blown globe.

I dont believe 2001 has VGRS - i dont think i have a blown globe - i have good graduations and the suspension is soft over smooth rolling bumps, just when going over small impact fast bumps.

Correct 2001 doesn't have VGRS. Sorry, I didn't notice the screenshot of TS, shows 2001. I tend to look at signature line for year, model, miles, build, etc..
VGRS is a Lexus product, first introduced in 100 series in 2003 LX.

I have a very similar issue. How do you body mounts look? Here's mine... Going to replace these when I get the truck back from getting a custom rear bumper built for it:

ALL other bushings in this LX are new OEM. New globes, new fluid, correct pressures. Body mounts are off center (first photo) and visible/severe cracking (second photo).
