Both my power side mirrors stopped working. I am unable to adjust them and they no longer tilt down in reverse. I changed the switch and power mirror controller in the driver door and had no luck. I couldn't locate a burnt out fuse either. Any ideas? It's a 2007 LX470.

Do you hear any motors trying to turn while pressing the fold button or mirror adjustment controls? If you hear nothing then an electrical short or plug is not functioning. If you hear noise but nothing happens could be the plastic gears that turn everything are worn.

I don't hear the motors.

Probably electrical then. You said fuses are good? Are plugs fully seeded down in the lower-left area where the mirror controls are located?

I checked a bunch of fuses. I couldn't find anything to pinpoint which exact fuse/s it could be?

I purchased a new mirror control switch and even after swapping it in no luck.

Hmm your fuse box is on the bottom left of the driver side and below the gas door and hood latch. Have you checked those fuses?

Checked those fuses but if someone has an idea of which specific fuse it could be that would be helpful

Any updates on this quest?
What else have you tested?
I’m having exactly the same issue: no power mirror adjustments, do not tilt in reverse, but will fold with button.
Aside from everything I checked or replaced including that power mirror computer I swapped nothing's worked so far. I've read it could be damaged wiring, but who knows. I'm open to hearing if you figure something out.

What part number did you use for the ECU? The TSB mentions that 2003-2006 models must also replace each mirror actuator with the updated ECU. Did you do that?

I know I'm reviving this thread after so long but now my mirrors won't power fold in or out either.

I didn't swap any new mirror actuators in yet.

I'm having the same problem with mirrors (no adjusting and not folding in or out). Actually the vent window buttons aren't working either. It's like the whole panel of buttons just to the left of the steering wheel aren't working.

I'll add my issue here - both mirrors on my 2007 470 are buzzing rather loudly. Both still work, but make a horrendous sound. I unplugged both before the motors give out.

Anyone else have this issue and any ideas on a fix?

Sure would be cool if there was a new mirror option that's not $650 from the dealer...

bump, anyone else run into this issue on their late model 470? Or I guess any model 470, not sure if its different on the earlier years - mine is an 07.

You could always rebuild it with aftermarket gears or motor. Cleaning and regreasing could also go a long way. Mine work but it’s a feature rarely used, primarily because every vehicle that has had them inevitable breaks a motor or gear from ice or people.
