TurdI would absolutely do it again. I’ve been more than happy. I’ve had it for about two years and I’ve done a couple rounds of updates with the Teyes software and they’ve been very good. I have a 2006 as well and the OEM parts needed for the conversion you speak of were really difficult to find. Some of them I couldn’t find, and some of the prices were so high that the Teyes conversion was cheaper.
The bezel that Teyes looks great, a lot of people ask me what year the car is because they think the installation looks OEM.
Are you using Android auto without connectivity issues? I'm trying to figure out if my frustrations (not connecting 1/3 of the time requiring a hard reset of the Car Link app) are commonplace or unique to my setup.
