Can someone with an LX confirm rear door speakers and sub is working? You can test by using the field adjuster in the equalizer. Only the front door speakers working on my 04 LC. Faded sound on rear speakers.
I have an 05 LX and my rear and sub are working

Does anyone have an electrical wiring diagram of 03+ LX? I like to see the section 'Radio and Player (w/ Navigation System)' to compare against the LC.

@Asanka , I have a diagram at home, let me know where to send the PDF. Should be able to send it off this evening.

Andrew

Did you figure this out? I have everything else working except my rear speakers and sub (and the skip track and rewind track buttons are swapped, but that's no big deal).

I'll provide an update shortly. Been busy with other things and didn't get to this.
Late model LX should not have rear door speakers working if Teyes wiring diagram is correct.
I haven't noticed ski track and rewind button behavior, that's probably a canbus decorder issue

My rear speakers worked when I installed it, they were not as loud as I would have liked though so I had to bias the balance toward the rear a bit to get them in "the mix".

Everything worked fine in my 06, April 2006 production LX470. I just didn't like it and I no matter how much I tried I just couldn't get the audio to sound as good as the Yatour Bluetooth setup I had in there so I went back to it and put my phone mount back on. I didn't like the touch assistant button either going to another popup menu to select climate instead of right to it.

CarPlay, wired or wireless, worked great and I liked the big screen but there were enough drawbacks I just went back to the OE look with the Yatour for streaming music and Waze / Maps on the phone mounted to a ram mount...

Thanks. Looking forward to getting the rears working as that's my last step!
I found a setting to swap the forward and back buttons, so that's solved.

I just took a look myself and I think I agree that there's no way the rear speakers can be working. I think I (we?) may have received a bad wiring harness?

Here's what I've found:
1) The CC3 diagram shows the following pinouts for the G socket:
1672620613821.png

Note that G9-G16 are the front and rear speakers. The top 4 pins on the left side are front outputs and the top 4 pins on the right side are the rear outputs.

Here's that same socket on the actual wiring harness:

You can see the top right 4 pins aren't even connected. Obviously the CC3 isn't outputting any rear speaker signal via the G socket (but maybe it does via the RCA outputs? I didn't check)

2) I also thought they might be tying the front spekaer outputs together in the harness and outputting that signal to the front AND rear speakers. But they are not. If we follow the front speaker wires from the output on the G socket to their destination, you can see them here. It's the four that are looped a bit:
G70W3xuXbGd0jheX_nj30MX-M_ufR-Ppypt3JRx0TbVzXgSF8OXt-6hHlxShhsKSYyrzpvyl_m081f3D67LJE53e1opNUP6d0xbJhsw041bBHKScArBa2pFFBiU7-dSMriaH8vKCGLEHnDeYv4I37tzFog9sm_Zl5NfgQCTZHyZzrc19PSw2bRl-SsaPHAltr_nsHVexlsYvNKXW2z0N4ein7mIJoqeNLunJfNgsp28aaCMNKpEnxS2JsgEPonVOwk-4SVqcoT5_0adhVHBm1bdyY_ccbV_fTNRZAHxSFwAQlflMRaBJoFOQhEpb296bwPdTQQROsYAXnUz_t64cKe9xGxQQDoPbUBb_HgrzeE3COaEtxKu_DKZ7onVLw8_SW3UimU4uRR14QFSRfY3XfQL7j53VYHnTOJJwlg5qNDGqLpe205jeHvLmdi-NH8T6BjHyBGk_UgVskYKEC4P7EeZ8ImSGlY0_vODsyOHcTJjjX0gfDWWzD6Ed7KI1CBmD0YJ5qLFUOiD4UcKI7XGjtss7_cxF9rZjElyMG5z-rTtIoED5QLf5WlDG4uYCLPATH4EFe3EkS8caimzxrqOLcHnlXAmYF_33OmRh06--FKeRCMLnxgZQLqrKuZCeCfkrf83rRB6ycDBz4oqVMDSV8kvhOVwTU7EHciOYyDQZg-5hdWtfvvE6r2oHl-vZOy7GHY9Dj-3rN2f1tkJm_hZt7f8TMqwK5UHFznaiS_h2BDt_f-fOJZp5Fsd_dZn91QPNkRlwlCs2yh5f4r7io18jlu3iEx3bE6Jst5tlbFiEZ2in-Zir0bGRG3g6XHuBDmjxOFUjDonaDx-hsR0-SmJE9dPlZwn9UGtVGlsxKtyzwPyY5saMIfSBffiTu3vsYpHiN4hibAG_53L-jet82tmbKqge_bxZJtHtdkpxJ5JuuH7Rvk1wu6bnuLOHqoZXc1Yho6C9n3O0_qGQux5wuPF9ag=w2529-h1902-no

And if we look at the LX470 wiring diagram, we see this (the four wires are pins 9, 8, 19, and 18):

So they way they mapped this is:
CC3 -> LX470:
Front Left positive -> Front Left positive (FL works)
Front Left negative -> Rear Left positive (RL does not work)
Front Right positive -> Front Right positive (FR works)
Front Right negative -> Rear Right negative (RR does not work)

---

I can only think of a few things that happened:
1) I have a bad wiring harness (can anyone else check theirs to see if it has the rear speaker outputs hooked up on the G socket?)
2) Nobody's rear speakers work (false, as evidenced by other people saying theirs work)
3) The 2007 LX470 pins are different than other LX years that are working? I doubt this because Asanka is having the same problem on his 04 LC.

I'm going to ping Teyes support and see what they say, but would be awesome if someone with working speakers could look at their harness. I KNOW how much of a pain it is to pull it apart though.

Are you on the T’eyes WhatsApp group? This information might help some of those guys also and one of the T’eyes techs is on it.

Here’s my Teyes connector.

Super interesting. You also don't have rear outputs connected on your harness. If you go into sound settings and fade the speakers all the way to the rear, do you hear any audio from the rear speakers? (I.e. are your rear speakers outputting anything?)
Yes I had rear audio when I tried that. I pulled the system out so I can’t do much more to help :(

I have a wiring harness modified to connect rear outs. Trying to find some free time to test it out. If you want, you can try switching outs of G connector with this tool. I can send a photo of modified connector in a little while.

Just bought that. I'm assuming you wired the RR+ and RL+ to the appropriate pins on the LX side. Did you wire all of the speaker negatives to ground or just leave them hanging?

Do you mind tracing those four wires at the top left of the socket in your picture and see if they go to the same spot as mine? The wires are the white, white/black, grey, and grey/black.

Looks like it's already out of your vehicle and your aren't using it anymore so hoping that's easy!

Anyone else notice that teyes doesn't have the the unit listed anymore for the LX after 2003?
