Funny this is mentioned. I have a 2010 LC, and I've seriously considered removing the "4WD" chrome looking badge on the rear. I mean number one, does anyone care that the vehicle is 4WD? And two, it is a Land Cruiser - must it be advertised on the car that it is a 4WD?

Do you guys have a link where I can buy the toyota emblem? I would like to replace both front and rear lexus emblems with toyota.
Not sure if they would fit. thanks.

Is the rear badge measuring exactly 5.5" x 3.75"? We do have a TEQ badge that is that exact size. For the front badge picture posted earlier, it's really hard to tell what those measurements are. We have two TEQ grille badges in that size range but I will need more accurate dimensions to be able to tell you guys which grille badge would be the perfect fit.

For the 08-11 LXs you can swap out the emblem for a OEM RX350 one. Looks a bit cleaner. I did it here!

I dug up this pic someone sent me so I am confident we have a rear TEQ badge that works on the 200 series LX. Just need more accurate dimensions on the front badge to be able to verify if we have one for the front.

I'm also looking to put Toyota badges on our 09 LX. Where we live folks love to key, door ding or worse to very nice vehicles. If it looks like a giant highlander I think the same folks might be too dumb to think twice lol...

I had these on one of my 80s and they're conversation starters for sure. One thing to keep in mind is that after a certain point the 200 has a milimeter wave radar sensor behind there and metal can interfere with function and cause dash errors. It was an issue with my '13, but not sure where the cutoff year is. I believe it isn't an issue for early year rigs, maybe '08-11?

The rear is cross compatible with a LC emblem but the front LC emblem is larger than the LX. I purchased one from eBay that said it was for an 07’-10’ camry. Then we filled in the holes on the perimeter of the factory backing plate, painted and epoxied the new emblem on top of the backing plate.

That turned out great, thanks for sharing!

I can't believe you switched the emblems. On the other hand, I totally understand, it's the one time adding a sticker/emblem actually adds power. It can now tow 1,200 more lbs.

So I ended up searching around and finding that a 2018 camry badge is the same size for the front. I had to do a lot of grinding and epoxy the new to the old but it looks close to stock. The rear badge is for a landcruiser 200 but one of the posts was different so I just broke it off. Just had to mount it carefully.

Silly how superficial we humans are; as we like the truck a lot more now lol

I need to do this. First day I got my ‘09 LX and pulled up the job site, walk over and the guy I’m working with has his back to me and is ignoring me, he finally turns around and goes ‘oh…what’s up man! Sorry I thought you must have been a friend of the home owner, some rich a****** coming to bother me’ And he drives a 2 year old $70k truck. 🤔

Im in the debadge camp, removed lx 570.
Switching emblems is a bit much though.
Havnt rubber padded it yet, still has some ghosting but it was ceramic coated prior to the removal.

I just pulled it off on a hot day by hand.

You could also slap an i force badge on the side lol

People are triggered by some weird stuff man. The Land Cruiser is just as expensive. Who cares what other people think?
I own my own business and very much care what my customer’s first impression of me is. After a few interactions, I’m comfortable that they can begin to trust me and won’t feel like they’ll be overcharged. But in a predominantly blue-collar town, it’s important, at least in my head.

Although, there’s no hiding the tires 🤔

Victimhood has become a currency and people will spend it with wild abandon if they can or counterfeit it if they don’t have it.

Victimhood is now ironically pseudo-privilege.
