i'm pretty sure i pulled my battery and ran it to the battery shop to get them to check cold cranking amps and they told me it was fine but i'm going to double check again as soon as i get the rig on the road again.
but i'm wondering if there is a documented issue where the alarm will drain the battery.
alternatively is it possible for it to get drained if you leave the rear hatch ajar (mine is bused) but you've pulled all the interior light bulbs?
this thing keeps dying over the course of sitting for six to eight weeks and it seems silly to me to have to disconnect the battery or find a place to trickle charge it since i don't do that with any other vehicle i've owned and it seems counter productive to have to do it with an off road rig.
does the LX alarm drain the battery? and links on the issue?
