Hi guys,
I've spent hours living vicariously, reading about various LV restos and upgrades and thought these videos might be of interest.

Theres a whole series on the restoration or re furb on components such as the diff, suspension etc.

The LV resto starts at video 53, and video 54 lists how much they paid for it and there anticipated resto costs. The initial purchase price left me speechless.

Hope you enjoy.

 $4500 wow i got mine for a song then :) Good to see another Aussie one in good nick being saved

There was a blue one for sale here a while back on ebay but it had been butchered with a pretty ordinary engine conversion and a hacked up dash. If i remember correctly starting bid was $6000 and it didn't get a bid.
Also one that had been cut down into a flat bed ute sold here in Tassie a while back. It was in pretty good nick other than the conversion. Can't remember what it went for.

I've also tracked down four other Aussie ones on the www over the years but these were all in a pretty sad state/stuffed or missing a lot of original parts.

I remember the blue one and thought it would be good candidate for a modernisation with a toyota engine and drivetrain.

I've also seen a couple of otherson ebay, one basiclaly a shell in Cooberpedy, and a red and white one in Tasmania.

There use to be a white one in good condition not far from me, but when I saw it I didn't know what it was and now its not there anymore.
