I was looking through some pictures of my distributor and noticed a lower knob. I wasn't sure what it was for or what it adjusts. This is not the octane selector knob.

Interesting you use engine oil. Personally think a 30 weight non detergent oil. Detergent in the oil is designed to wash parts as well as lubricant them. Used a pump to keep things oiled and filter to clean contaminates out of the oil. Non detergent oil sticks better. Would use non detergent in the oil bath air cleaner for the same reason.

Thank you! I would assume it just needs a few drops or squirts of oil?
The dipstick is right there, when you pull it out to check oil level let it drip into the dizzy oil cup
