I just purchased a Manafre HEI distributor for my 1971 FJ40. It comes with plug wires. When I received my distributor it came with two different styles of plug wires. I know this might sound petty, but it looks like crap. I reached out to Manafre and they came back with they could sell me more plug wires. for $140.00 Should I accept this answer?

Below is a link to what I ordered.

Yup, that looks like crap. But you knew it was a big piece of non-OEM crappy blue plastic when you ordered it.
Or is it just the plug wires you don't like?

Wow, what a poor response and solution. I looked at their unit a few weeks ago and bought a chinneesium Declo off Amoron for like $110 that matched my numbers for my very loose unit that was on my 72 when I got it in 82. I plan to make new bushings and what ever to rebuild it. The new unit is nice and tight and seems well made for now. I'll try and get it installed this week and see if it works. My old blue wires from manny look like they will fit.

It's a Chinesium. Seems to work fine.

It's the wires that bother me. They can't even get them right.

Ain't planning on buying from them ever again.

You can replace the wires or just the ends easily. To me, I'd evaluate it's actual function first, then you can worry about aesthetics. For what it's worth, I've run GM HEI's in F and 2F engines as well as V8s and they work great. I use Davis Unified Ignition (DUI) brand and I've never had a problem.

You can buy a set of wires for 6 cyldr gm hei distributors for under $20 on rockauto.
