Put some on it would look great.I have a LHD 01/79 BJ40 from Germany, a very rare one and I wanted to install left, centre, and right lower pads. There are holes which are blanked out for left and center pads, nothing for right side. I checked, no filler or welds. Any thoughts anyone?

I want to keep original as possible. Seeing blanked out pieces, took the initiative to buy lower pads. However, tried today to see if at least left and center match with holes, that failed too. I am just curious to know if this BJ40 did ever come with lower dash pads. May be those blanked out holes previously used for something else. Thanks!

Those are a bit different than my Canadian ones mine just have push pins ,and you push them on ,yours looks like a bolt. Should bolt on easy after drilling some holes. Bolt them on.
That's right, these are aftermarket ones. Don't want to drill holes etc, if originally they didn't come, would keep it this way. Toyodiy gives part number for them but doesn't say if it applies to this vehicle or not, just generic I suppose. Those are a bit different than my Canadian ones mine just have push pins ,and you push them on ,yours looks like a bolt.
