Looking for replacement leather options for my 96 LX450

Arm rests and center console are part of the front row kit. Tools? I don't need no stinkin' tools. That's because I'M not putting them in. The seats cost so little I can justify paying a shop to bust their knuckles, it can be a pain. My installer wants the truck for a day and I can make more money in a day than what they are charging me. You can source tools on line like ebay, etc.

Sounds like it is over.

Got new front seat covers from lseat. Took a little over 3 weeks. Went with the dark beige per a previous posters recommendation. It does appear to be a pretty close match to the original leather color. Scheduled to be get them installed next week and will post how it turns out. $350 for installation FWIW.

Any pics?

Here's a picture of the center console piece laid on the existing passenger seat leather.

so thats not going to match the back seat for sure , so i need to buy it all . dang

Thanks for the pic. It looks pretty light compared to the seat, but it is always hard to tell in pics. How does it look in person?

I know there is a price difference, but the Landcruiser Heaven leather is 2nd to none in the quality department. Just a thought. Not worth it to everyone, if your goal is to spend a little less, but it seems to me you are getting what you pay for in this scenario.

Ill try to post up a picture of my @FloridaFJ80 leather tomorrow. I finally got around to installing it after sitting in a box for 6 months. Top notch, very good quality stuff.

Please do! A few more photos would really help those of us on the fence about the current leather options on the market.

so you've got first hand knowledge with the lseat covers, then?

No, I don't, and thats a fair point. Though I doubt you will ever find anyone that will actually have both.

My comment is pruely from my experience with Land Cruiser Heaven. Pictures can be decieving, but the lseat leather most certainly looks like Vinyl (I may be wrong about this, please correct me if I am) Which is fine and at that pricepoint is prettymuch expected. The Landcruiser Heaven leather was heavy and thick and extremely soft. Even in packaging there was virtually no wrinkles or creases like seen in the lseat pictures.

Franks kit also came with additional bars for the seats, extra foam padding, more hog rings then you would possibly need, rear skirts for the seats, replacement leather for the board on the back where the map nets are, replacement leather for the door panels, armrest covers and center console. Im not sure how much of that is in the lseat kit.

Seems to me like lseat is good bang for your buck, Landcruiser heaven = Real quality.

Nothing wrong with either of those options depending on what you are looking for.

my truck isn't a high end restoration , the LC heaven seats are really nice but geared toward you buying the entire set up .
that would be nice if my truck were in better condition , but it has dings and faded paint etc . i have over $20k into mine in mechanical , lift, tires, armor etc . i just don't know if i want to go much further , i do know that i need to fix both power seats and get rid of the ripped front seats before i decide if i want to dump another 10k into it.

who knows.... lseat claims genuine leather, and it does feel like it... it does come with wrinkles and creases, fit may not be 100% either

but it does include rear skirts and leather for the board on the back, armrest covers and center console...

Installed the Land Cruiser Heaven 40th anniversary second row leathers. Will be doing the front row this week. Turned out great. Color match was dead on.
