ONSC family, sorry to say I will be unable to make it this year due to Dad obligations. Please take (and post) lots of pictures. And drink 1 or 12 for me.

Lastly, watch out for the trees in and around URE. They like to jump out at you and your rig when you least expect it.

Unfortunately, due to some issues with the turbo and injection pump on my 70, I will not be bringing her this year.

I'll be driving up in my Prius. On 35's. @bkfj40 made me chop the fenders. :)

I'll still be leading the Friday AM run, except in BK's truck.... if he doesn't break it.

Can a Prius even hold that much beer?

Why is it that guys that work in the LC industry never seem to have time to work on their own trucks :)

Local diesel shop is rebuilding turbo and the injection pump. I have no damn time since I am leaving for SCC and then Southern Utah and Death Valley in October.

Anybody wanting to register now will have to do it in person at the event. T-shirts will not be guaranteed...at least not in your size ;). @custyota , this means you'll probably get a child's MED tank top. Pre worn, and dirty, of course.

oops...I hope you might have a 2xl for me

Probably will!!

Anyone have questions about inspections or anything else?

One big change this year is that we will have waivers at the registration tent for people to sign for insurance purposes.

Answer: Calibrating deflate valves.

Question: Name something ridiculous you can blow 45 minutes on while prepping for LR.

Hey hey hey, the t-shirt guarantee date for registrations was weeks ago :flipoff2:

Guess ill have to read all ten pages next time ;)

Granted I was late in the reg and read it wrong to understand that if you pre reg you would be covered. Missed the note on page 3 half way down about aug 20 deadline. That said, seems we are always short on larges (didnt get one last year either). Something to note for future events and as i believe alex mentioned perhaps adjust our ordering schedule to allow plenty for paid registrants and possible future sales.

Yes, you should read the whole thread :D

Totally agreed. Last year was terrible for shirts. We had only ordered 64. This year we ordered 104 shirts thinking that we were only a little short last year, so we'd definitely be covered this year. We have had a HUGE number of people register after the t-shirt order was put in, which corresponds to cutoff date referred to earlier. Fact of the matter is that it takes a few weeks to get the t-shirts so the numbers have to be decided a few weeks out. We over-estimated by at least 10 shirts per size (in the popular sizes) based on the numbers we had and registration numbers from the past few years, so I thought we were covered.

I apologize for the oversight. This year's event is exploding in size in a majorly awesome, but somewhat unexpected, way, causing a shirt shortage yet again. To give you a glimpse, we've got more people registered now through the website, than how many people attended any prior Logan's Run.

We are working on getting more shirts as a rush order. Not sure if it's possible less than a week out. If we can get more, I'll be reaching out to people who had to get different sizes.

Once again, my sincere apologies for the t-shirt frustration.

We haven't done that in the past (at least the last 5 years that I've been around). Can't recall anybody asking. I'm sure we could do this if there's interest, as there are some grills right in the area. I'd prefer to keep it simple...hot dogs...@GLTHFJ60 ? Might need to ask for a volunteer to handle the work.

Not a problem ... we can pack our own, just wanted to know if they were already on the menu. Thanks.

Menu is tentatively this:
PIG
Baked Beans
Corn Salad
Sweet Potatoes
Slaw
Brunswick Stew
Assorted sweets to spike the blood sugar and keep you going until a forceful crash at bedtime.

Please remember to provide your own beverages for you and your family - same as in the past.

We'll have a Saturday evening schedule posted shortly but expect dinner around 7:30pm, so be prepared to snack, and maybe feed your kids, after getting back to camp in the late afternoon.

Opps - I missed registration. I have day commitments, but can I still come and camp/eat Saturday night.... it said only in person registrations, so I assume yes....
