Locking Hubs on Rear Wheels

Measurements

Look at your front hub. It extends well beyond the wheel, too. Capiche?

I measured and the rear axle hub body is 2cm wider than the front - so with the same width Aisins there'd be 2cm more metal hanging out the back as the front. This is not a problem, I guess, or is it?

I guess I'm probably technically wrong for saying the FF and SF axles are different widths - but I included the axle hub in describing the overall width of the axle and I guess getting a X isis what one gets for making such a stupid statement is what I

If the hub is extending out past your tire... you need more rubber

This configuration has been in service now for three years without any issues....

Poor mans front dig? Do you have the shaft dimensions handy?
