I thought there might be an interest in these for the 100 & 200 series trucks which are doing an interior build.

I designed these to be used for housing all of my Electrical components such as a LiPo4 battery (up to 300Ah), Fuse box, Circuit Breakers, DC/DC charging, and an inverter) but it is also useful for anything that needs to be locked up like Cameras, laptops, guns, etc. This uses the dead space in-front of the Fridge slide behind the 2nd row seats. I sized it for a Goose Gear Ultimate Chef package but can be used in just about anything, it does fit in Jeep JL 4Xe's, New Defender 110 & 130's, and others. The Length of the cargo area determines if it can go in front of the fridge or not. Otherwise there is enough room for Front runner boxes in front of it in pretty much everything I have tried so far.

Anderson Slanted Utility Box is designed to sit behind the second row seats in any Sport Utility Vehicle. This locking space can be used for anything that you need to store, mount, lock or hide away.

The box is slanted to allow the rear seat to recline to a comfortable position. Shown in a 200 series Land Cruiser. The ASUB completely replaces the Goose Gear Utility Module used on the 100 and 200 series Land Cruisers.

It was purposely designed to mount in front of a Fridge slide and to hold a Group 31 Lithium Battery and other wiring needs with room to spare for any other components or shelves, etc.

Depending on battery size it can fit up to 300ah of lithium (the Epoch 300ah LiPo4 is a perfect example), Pictured is the Renogy 100ah Group 31 Battery

Mounting is easy accomplished with 8 supplied 1/4-20 SS bolts and T-nuts for wood or any other means dictated by your setup. Normally this would be mounted to some type of plate system in the truck but could be mounted directly to the truck.

The Bottom is made of 2 layers of Aluminum and supplied with 8 locating divots for easy bolt mounting (not drilled).

The Latches are lockable and are supplied with 2 sets of Keyed alike keys. It is made of Aluminum and is not intended as a safe, But it is out of sight lockable storage.

The Hinges are lift-off allowing the door to be completely removed for ease of installation and servicing any gear inside the box.

Ideas:

Electrical battery and wiring cabinet.

Gun storage

Camera Gear Storage

Laptops and Valuables

Water system components.

Mounting point for any vehicle sub-system such as inverters or other sensitive gear.

Trying to do this as a pre-order of at least 5 boxes before I start stocking them.

Right now they will be bare Aluminum, but I am researching a powder coat option in the future if there is a demand. But painting it is simple option as well if you don't like the Aluminum look.

The 3rd hinge location will not be part of the shipping units, it was an experiment and made no difference to seat reclining.
The last picture is the angle the rear seats recline to...

Very cool idea, thanks for sharing!

Very cool. I am looking for an option to store a pistol where I can reach it easily and came across this in my search. Agree that space is a little dead. When I build out my rear space more I'll definitely consider this.

These are badass. Great work. I need my third row but I imagine you will find some takers here.

Thanks!..
Here is the box with a 300ah Epoch LiPo4 battery and full electrical system built into one side of it... WIP since the 2g cable pictured is not hooked up to the 2000w inverter in this photo and I have not built the storage shelf in to yet.. but gives you an idea of what is possible for the box. All wiring goes through the floor of the Box and the goose gear plate system, so you can't see any of it. You can sorta see the Redarc DCDC charger on the side of the box so it gets cool air and well there is still a lot of space left over for other stuff even though there is a 12 gang fuse panel, 3 Circuit breakers, plugs, shunt, and other stuff in there already. With the shelf there is plenty of room for cameras, drones, guns, old playboy magazines, whatever you need to lock up.. Powder coating it will also make it even less noticeable from the outside that there is even a box in there behind the rear seat.

I could also do it already built out, but that would be a T&M job we would have to talk about since there are a lot of factors involved and a fair amount of work..but can be done and you can sleep in the truck as well with all this stuff installed.
