done clean or butchered?

i look at that rad install and it looks backyard. most things can be done if you don't care about final appearences.

if he took a HD front clip and modified the front fender mounts then that would have looked clean AND would have illiminated the need to butcher the front rad mount. the rad mounts to the sheet metal.

as i said before, you can not mount a 6 into a LJ sheet metal... i will have to expand... and make it look good.

I looked at the pictures and I guess your right Wayne, but there is no room for the A/C...I guess they won't need it over there! :)

I'm checking the availability of the engine here in Egypt. I found the 12H, 13BT, and 2H, but I still have to check the prices and spare parts. Any recommendations?

but if i was doing the swap it would be the PZ since we will be able to get parts for quite a while for that engine...

The 12H is the most common engine here, but the H55 is bit expensive for my budget so that's why I'm considering to swap in a auto transmission.

Any idea which engine of those would match the G40 Transmission, at least for a short period?

NO I DONT THINK THEY NEED AIR C. I BELIEVE 20 celcius is cosidered a warm day even with 24hour daylight. At least we know that the 12h does fit sort-of

I was away looking in junk yard for engines and spare parts last week so I came up with 2 options and here is the beef:

1- I swap in a 13BT which will require a good time of work, plus it will be much higher in expenses as the engine, transmission and transfer case will cost me 2700 USD. On the other hand I will get the power I want! :)

2- I found a LJ70 that is cut in 2 halfs " the only way to import cars into Egypt!" it's imported from Europe. I will get from it 2 doors, 2 Fenders, complete dashboard, stock suspension, 2 differentials, 2 rear ambulance doors, all the front sheet metal, the steering wheel with all components"wiper, light...."and I will get the 2LT with it's transmission and transfer case.
All this will cost me about 3500 USD, plus very little mods and work. But the car will be still underpowered! :(

Really confused and I need to take the decision...

Thanks for all the feedback & Waiting for your reply

Many would call me a 2LT fan but if you got used to, and want serious power look at the 13BT option indeed. the 2LT over 2L improvement will be marginal.
