Hi y'all, I picked up a 97 LX450 about 6 weeks ago in Michigan and then used it to tow my daily 2012 Scion tC down to Concord where I'm staying for the summer doing an internship. My truck needs some work but I love it; it was originally from Arizona so the rust isn't bad at all. Even though it's currently stock (for now) I'm looking to do some light offroading at Uwharrie (I live ~30 mins away) and to meet some other LC owners.

Thanks, white wasn't my first choice for color but it was a decent cruiser for the area so what can ya do, I plan on ripping off the ugly ass cladding at some point and going two-tone!

Welcome to the obsession!

TRD in NC? been so long since I had training at TRD in Torrance CA... times have changed, Toyota wasn't even in nascar back in my time...welcome to the club

Yeah TRD is still based out of Torrance with the HQ but there is a smaller facility in Salisbury to be closer to the NASCAR teams.

I live in Concord and have a 40. It would be nice to see another cruiser around here, I'm tired of all these Jeep guys giving me "the wave".👋
If you ever want to meet up for a beer or need a hand wrenching let me know.

Thanks for the offer! I'll have to take you up on it sometime.

Welcome! There's a really cool Hurricane creek trip in June. Perfect for a stock LX.

Welcome! I moved out here 2.5 years ago from Phoenix to work for RTR Vehicles. People will act like it's hot here in the summer, but if you're from AZ you know it's not! Hope you enjoy your time here and that we can meet up some time.
It's the humidity. I was in AZ in July 2017 and loved the dry heat.
