Wow that looked epic, I can't wait for next years when my rig will be ready. Question for everyone who participated: I noticed in almost all the photos everyone has sliders. Did you guys/gals encounter terrain harsh enough to use them on this trip? I ask bc I'm headed to Colorado for labor day in a few week to offroad and camp and wondering how limited I will be (05 LX AHC) without damaging my rig.. Newb offroader here!

Buy the sliders. The one time you will gain damage (and you dont know when), you will regret not having them. It's insurance. And I would think repairing your damaged panel will end up costing more than the slider. It only makes sense if you are looking to wheel and have a peace of mind.

Go check out the HIH6 thread. Sign-up opens every year a few months before the event. It is a really fun weekend if you can make it up there in 2017.

@Mr Snappy - definitely keep your eye on mud and on website. www.100sinthehills.com. Should be ready to open registration mid Q1 2017. We do have dates selected for next year, July 26-31.

Gonna have to mark it down. Let's see, this sounds like a great reason for lockers, sliders, upgraded suspension, more lights (there is a night run, right??) and re-gearing. For fuel economy, of course..
