I'm trying to order these things today before my club SOR membership expires. They are for my stock 81 FJ40. I know which spring bushings I need but have some confusion on the bolts. I think the ones I need are part # 102-03C-G but it appears that the bolts cost as much ($20.40) as the whole shackle with two bolts on the same page. How is that possible?

Here is the page Specter Off-Road-Land Cruiser Parts - Page 288-Shackles - Aftermarket

Also, what is with the big teardrop shaped flange on one end of the bolt? Mine don't look like that now.

Also, I don't see anything that says that these bolts are 18MM, which is what I think I need.

Finally, following the advice I got here earlier, does anyone know if these bolts have pressed or threaded zerk fittings?

Thanks in advance.

Those are for the fixed spring side, not the shackles. All of the ones I've seen from SOR have threaded zirc's.

threaded zerks on the SOR pins - the teardrop side is so that the pin is fixed and does not rotate

I would not run them again in shackles since these zerks easily shear on rocks (BTDT )

I like the MAF design better

OK, I got it figured out. I mistakenly thought I could just use the stock shackles with greasable bolts but I have to buy greasable shackles. Thanks for the help.
