Light restoration on a 40

Prepainted behind the tired carrier attaching areas prior to complete paint as I wanted to eliminated future rust. Plus the look of the freshly painted bolts with no chipping due to removal looks factory, also to mention taping off all rubbers including the one below the windshield makes for a great look.

Small touchs make the restortion, I think.

I also aligned the hood as it was at least a 1/2 inch off plus the passenger door did not close or open, two minutes and it was working fine.

One thing the painter mentioned to me, was he noticed paint and body work, were I noticed and fixed panels and alignment, all reviels must be equal when and if possible.

Thanks

Rob

Looks awsome.........I kinda want it back now :)

glad you left the Broken Birfield Bar and TEQ on the 1/4 windows ;)

Thanks John, send your green one for a little spruce up.

Ya, those stickers deserved to stay.

Did not expect to see ya as I know a new little one can take all your time up.

Will try and swing by with the truck before you leave.

Like these ones that were sent to me via AATLAS1X, thanks they look great.

Just got them two seconds ago.

Also to mention, nice to see these type of small details now available, they just finish a project right.

The quality to detail on the decals are perfect and I will use them again on another restorion. All you have to do is cover some of the diesel cruiser decals, like DIESEL.....

Actually to Michigan in the end. We need to go from Vancouver island to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Me going to get it takes too much time - any commercial shipping will be cheaper than what it costs me to take a week off...

Your welcome! "DIESEL" ones are coming, is the type set correct and the size?

Good job on the rig!

Wow, really been bouncing around, near finished.

Sprayed the inside and the roof with with PPG Concept, this stuff looks great, shiny shiny shin and flat as glass.

Chasing the threads with this snap on kit, really nice stuff.

Rob
Mind sharing the part number and price of the thread chase kit. I've been looking for something like that. Harbor Freight is what I have tried and they are crap. Lesson learned.

I have seen a simular kit with metric only at Lordco on sale this month and thinkit was ITC.

HI, the truck is done less one door seal which was shipped wrong side, pretty sure things will be dealt with and I will see this seal this week.

Otherwise it looks great and awaits shipping soon.

Thanks for watching and the kind words.

Rob
