Asked a family member to do something artsy. It's multiple coats of color stuff and flake that is dynamic in the sunlight. The lettering is covered with about 10 coats of bartop varnish. Originally started as wooden balls found at a craft store. Definitely not a machined look but I like 'em.

Very cool!! Sounds like a fun rig you got there!

I have a 2-ball (blue) from a billiards set. I have a smurf-a-licious blue FJ62, so it works for me. It's a good size for my bear paws.

So you'll have 2 blue balls..... :censor:, yup, my mind's in the gutter.

I am married with children! It has a few meanings. It's an '88, so an 8 ball would work, but that isn't me.

I need to find better shift knobs for my twin sticks though. Maybe miniature 6 & 2?

Esh has a killer old school wood knob for his.

2x regarding the .44 Ruger, extremely cool!

I felt the 8 ball was too 'done' and I liked the color of the 7 ball better anyway. Knob on the trans shifter is stock for that shifter.

Easier to have fun with the tcase shifter. Buddy of mine drilled this piece of petrified wood for me and did a slight polish on it as well. Just installed a bronze insert for the threads. Seems appropriate to shift for the rocks with a rock....

Once my kid sends it to me I am gonna make a tcase knob out of a 25mm shell that he gets from the planes he works on.

My son wants to make a new shifter knob, but he needs to know the size of the bronze insert or any insert for the FJ60. Anybody know?

Remove the knob and take it to the hardware store then pick through the metric bolt trays to find a bolt that mates. Maybe you'll get lucky.

That’s a really good idea. We’ve been looking on different sites that sell inserts, but this one is a bit of a mystery. I’ll post back what we find and if we find a place to buy them.

The thread pitch you want is 12x1.25, so start there and choose an insert that works with whatever knob you’re making
