Another good pointI was always under the impression that the tire sits to the opposite side of the fuel door. This would allow fuel cans to sit closer and hopefully use a shaker or transfer pump to move fuel into the tank.
The spare could definitely help be a counterbalance.Anything but center. I like mine on my 60 on the left side for visibility. Although some time I wonder if having it on the left would help some of my cruiser lean.
On my RHD troopy, the tire is on the left and it makes visibility difficult. For the troopy I had to go left side so I could use the back door without opening the swing out every time.
