Got (most of) my PFRAN LED kit yesterday.

Before I really YANK on the rear tail light assemblies to get to some driving lights, is this the way to go? Two bolts are out, top of the assembly rocks nicely toward me when pulling but the bottom is still in there really tight.

I'm assuming there's a seated connection in there and I just need to pull harder but before I break something, figured I'd ask......because it definitely isn't coming out with a decent amount of pull applied thus far.

thx....

Yeah there are clips.. They are annoying

So do I just yank straight back???

Thx man....

I think I watched a video when I replaced my bulbs. Do a search for rear taillight bulb replacement on google. It's helps to have one of those plastic trim pry bars. Pry straight back after you remove the screws/bolts. It slides out straight back. One snag that I have not figured out for led blinkers is that all the bulbs in the assembly use a common power source. So, if you put a resistor on the wiring, you'll be resisting all of the bulbs, Not just the signal bulb.

Try standing beside the truck, using the palm of your hand give the taillight housing a whack on the side pushing it to the back of the truck, should pop out of the clips.

Maybe one of these guys?

Perhaps, I ordered one and it wasn't the right unit. It appears all years are not the same. I'll check it against the one I already have that didn't fit. My front signals are 1156A LL and that doesn't seem to match what suppliers show as the bulb. I resisted the fronts for leds.

thx guys, will try tonight!!!

That did the trick, thx again! The way I started prying definitely could have wound up cracking something so I'm glad I asked.

Project on hold, LED kit I got sent doesn't match these bulbs at all (same issue with the reverse lights). So, waiting to get some replacements before getting these swapped out.
