I am looking for a decent set of led lights to hook up to my mower. I have less and less time to mow during daylight hours and last two times I held a flashlight in my hand to mow the 3 acres.

So, need to be 12v hardwired and put up with bouncy abusive terrain.

Thanks for any advice.

Thanks, I ordered a set. Will let you know how they work.

I'm getting ready to install a 7.5" flood Lifetime LED light on my Z turn. You could also do a pair of small lights or PODs and save a few dollars but I think the 7.5" bar will work out nicely. I'll post pics when I get it done. I have to figure out where I want to mount it. I might put it on the roll bar once it arrives (is on order, once I almost flopped the mower a couple weeks ago...).

It is starting to get too hot to mow during the day and not sweat yourself crazy. I wait until the shadows cover the yard and have lately been running out of time to finish a few areas.

Pic of said near flop. I've never puckered so hard wheeling before.

lol...glad you put that up there Steve...

maybe you should see if they make an opptional winch?..

To the OP...Southesst Overland is also stocking some nice lights now...check out the online store

I've had some close calls wheeling before but always had a roll bar or at least a roof over my head. This was down right scary. When I slapped the brake off of the mower and had some slack in the winch line the mower rolled backwards further into a hole. If I hadn't Peter Pan'd off that mower when I did it could have been B-A-D.

Here is what I am going to put on the front of my Z turn. I'm going to test it out soon at night.

I'll test it at night soon. Been too darn busy. I might also go to a spot pattern. I won't be traveling that fast at night on the mower. Now it will mooooove, but not fast enough probably for a spot pattern.

Once you get your ROPS installed...you can shoot for some limb risers,33's, a winch, some LED task lighting, ROPS mounted Engel, and the list goes..

My one fear is it'll end up like your grill...

I'm good wid it. :-)

I did considering bending a hoop to go off the ROPS for some canvas and shade.

The fridge would have to be small.

Hijack over. ;-)

Got my set up done. used a 200lb pull magnet from harbor freight and welded a bracket to it that connects to the light. This way, I can take it off when it is not needed and it will not get hurt when I roll the mower. :)

Will post up pics.

Wow...magnet was an awesome idea...

I can't take credit for the magnet idea. OKLEDLIGHTBAR guys were great to call and talk to me about ideas.

If you are looking to buy, they have been great to work with.

Thanks. We like making people happy.

I'd LOVE to see some video from some night runs!

I'm ordering some additional lights tomorrow and am including a 7.5" flood bar for my mower. Just too dang hot to get started too much before dusk - and I'd hate to run over a chicken!
