Plug and play LED headlights for your FJ40 Land Cruiser.

Features:
1. Bright white light
2. Instant on
3. 50,000+ hours life span - That's 5.7 years
4. IP67 rating - Tested for 1 meter of water immersion
5. Low energy consumption - If you forget to turn off your lights, it will be hours before the battery is drained

High quality, jewel-like appearance. On low beam, top half of the light is illuminated. On high beam, both top and bottom portions are illuminated. High beam will literally create daylight ahead of you, which is ideal for off-road situations.

Price: $139 for a set of 2 lights
Shipping: $20

Please PM me to purchase, or send email to racer_65@hotmail.com

Additional Notes:
1. Installation procedure is identical to replacing halogen lights: Take off bezel. Remove 3 screws holding retainer ring. Swap in new lights. Plug in.
2. Some fiddling of the retainer ring may be needed, but it will definitely fit without modification.
3. May work on other models such as FJ60 and mini-truck, but I have not personally tested such applications.

Are these DOT approved?

How do they compare to the Peterson or Truck-Lites?

I think the JWS are still the best....but don't like the look.

Headlights are on my shopping list...good timing.

Sorry guys, been quite busy and just getting back to emails and Q&A.

Are these DOT approved?

How do they compare to the Peterson or Truck-Lites?

These lights are aftermarket version of the latest iteration of Truck-Lites. The design is identical, meaning it exceeds DOT FMVSS-108 requirements, and it uses the latest high density CREE branded chip. The discerning expert will tell you that nothing beats a Truck-Lite, and I would agree. However, for $200 less it sure comes close. We wanted to offer a product that gives you the biggest bang for your investment, and something that you won't be afraid to take off-road. For those who want to pay up for the brand, they already know where to get'em. :)

Will this fit on 60 series?

Hi, I responded to your email, but it's a good question so I'm sharing with the group:

Fitness is not an issue; however, I am unsure of the plug-and-play suitability of LED lighting for the 60 series in general. According to this post (pertaining to a different LED light), it is not plug-and-play:

However, there are other posts proclaiming the opposite:
TruckLite LED upgrade

Any 60 Series owners, please feel free to weigh in.

Trucklites were plug and play on my stock unmodified 1986 FJ60. They were amazing and probably the best money I've ever spent on a vehicle.

I have been debating whether to go Trucklite, JW Speaker, or LED H4 conversion on my 1977 FJ40. Unless my wife surprises me with a pair of JWS next week for my birthday, Racer, you'll have my money for a pair of yours.

If these are plug and play for the 60 I would love a pair. If you want to ship a pair to me, I can test them and see if they are; and if they are I would buy them. IF not I would ship them back. I just would hate to buy a pair and have them not match up.. But if you are interested, please DM me.. I imagine they would work.

Let's do that. I would love to see these fitted on the 60 Series. I'll pay return shipping if it doesn't work.
PM coming.

I would be willing to do that and I am in Redwood City and work in Mt. View. Could arrange a time to come by. Let me know because I am interested in buying a pair.

Racer65 have you had any issues with flickering on high beam. I ordered some generic ones similar to what you are selling off amazon and they flickered on high beam. I have sort of a weird wiring set up though as I have an 80 series harness in a 60 chassis. And I had to convert from a two bulb system to a single bulb system. I don't remember exactly how I did it. I've been thinking about building a harness with simple Bosch type relays. I sort of explained in the LED 60/62 thread mentioned above. You can reverse the switching from a negative ground switch to a positive switch by running it through a relay with a constant power to the switch pole and then run the switched negative to the ground pole on the relay. Then run a second constant power to the constant power pole. And then run the positive aux output poles to your LED headlights. I think you'd have to run two relays separately for high and low beams but it should work for 60s and 62s.
