I just had my PS pump replaced because it was leaking like crazy (it was a 3rd party reman, but is now a Toyota part). Now the pump stopped leaking but the leak on the floor is getting bigger. Turns out its coming from here. It was coming from here as well before. The trouble is that both of these hoses are new. What gives? bad install? Bad hoses? or is it common for the res to leak? I've also replaced the cap not long ago. Its getting annoying as its getting on the belt.

Are they OEM hoses? Did you put new clamps on as well? Maybe too much fluid in the system and its building up excess pressure.

The high pressure hose is a gates, the low pressure is the Toyota P/N. I don't think they used new clamps.

I would slide that spring clamp down and put a simple hose clamp on there. That will determine if a weak clamp is causing the problem.
