Not having airbag and 3rd brake light are indications to me that this was not done right, let alone the diesel emissions. Last I knew there was only one place in the US that was authorized to do diesel emissions testing for EPA requirements. Would be nice to have though.
Is that one place in SF?
the way I see it is that who ever owns this is running the risk of loosing it to the Gov if Customs/EPA/DOT ever get wind of this being here, I think? Would be nice to have though.
Ok, now I have to step in here, please stop with the myth's and speculation. there was only one incident of this every happening and it was up in Calgary Canada.
Look I am sure this is perfectly legal in Texas, that is why it is there and has a title and plates on it, the state has the right to ultimately decide if a vehicle is legal or not and yes the states will vary from each other.
But I really serioulsy doubt that the illegal vehicle police are driving around the states looking and claiming illegal vehicles and siezing them, despite the owner having valid registration and title for it...Really come on lets leave the story telling to kids.
