leaf spring twist (pic)

i pulled the springs apart and now i noticed a twist when comparing the 2 eyes and the center .those 3 points are not all level when trying to view the remaining 2 spring(5 removed from the pack). am i screwed. can i fix. these are front springs.

Maybe from decades of turning with shot bushings- puts a lot of sideways force on the shackle. But just guessing.

If they came off ok, they 'should' go back on again without undue cursing

Good, i would probably collapse laughing if someone went overboard with a cut off wheel trying to remove springs.

i bought these as my front springs are almost flat. the seller told me the rig he was wrecking was on blocks and zero room to remove them so he cut them . honestly i didnt notice the twist when they were complete. what to do. i pulled them a part to add a leaf and reco them.

ah, just swap em to the other side, eh?...


you got a local spring shop or blacksmith you could take em to to "fix up"??? ... I'd ask for an expert opinion or not use them... or you might try finding another set of used. I have not had this issue with used springs I've been lucky enough to get... dang, you're far...
