The thing that worries me with that email, is that it sounds like he is having financial difficulties. My hunch is that our money, that was paid in full, has been applied to other debts or exisiting jobs, and now he does not have the money to pay for the material to finish our jobs.

I'm not in any kind of a rush to get my sliders, I would just like to know I will get them as I paid my money in good faith to SROR. If it is going to be 2-3 more months then just say so and stick to that date. I'd be OK with that. If it's not going to happen then pony up and be a man, sell some of your crap to pay off your debts, and give us full refunds.

Jackson, I know you have done what you can to complete this group buy. This is not your fault by any means, this is a :censor: SROR problem. It just sucks when you place a trust in someone's word and then pay them for a job upfront and then they flake on it.:bang:

What was that email supposed to mean?

Is he moving from his shop to work out of his house?

Or is he closing the business? (I thought he just partnered with some Redline somethin or other company?)

I would have lost it if I was still waiting for my sliders and I saw that email.

SROR makes some quality stuff, and I doubt that he/they wanted anything bad to happen with this order, but damn.

(note to self: if and when I start fabbing stuff, remember to provide lots of updates and pics and ship stuff out as if it was radioactive if it stayed in the shop too long)

On a good note guys, they are really nice sliders and once you have them all the frustration melts away. I hope they show up soon for everyone.

He's going through what so many fabshops are going through as folks dont have that extra money to spend on fun stuff.............not that what he's done makes it ok, hope you folks get it worked out soon..

I'm not sure I understand what you mean here.

Every other fab shop I have every done business with over the last 28 yrs of my life has never done anything like this. You pay your money you get your work. Plain and simple.

I do not know of a single fab shop who practices this type business, so I guess that is why he is in trouble. Furthermore, we are paid in full customers who gave him money to pay for the "fun stuff", by your reasoning he should be loving us not f:censor:g us like he is!

I forsaw this a little bit, and I feel sorry for the guy, but come on - this is stupid.

I love my sliders, and I'm sure everyone else will when they finally get them.

Which part is stupid?

Do you know when we can start loving our sliders?
It taking this long for everyone to get their damn sliders. I don't think it's healthy to love a piece of metal, but I'm prepared to take that risk - I don't know about you guys though. :flipoff2:

How about I don't want to wait another 4 months to get 4 more sets? Is it too much to ask for a call back with delivery date?

Something is not right in your statement, not everybody got their sliders yet.
