LC250 Flipping

I thought these two articles might be of interest to folks on people flipping the LC250.
Kinda old news uhn? Plenty of PRADOS available to purchase these days, including FEs with some even below MSRP depending on the region. I remember when they announced the FE people thought it would be nearly mission impossible to get one, some even saying it would be as hard as was getting an LCHE when they launched. That did not really pan out.

Can't really compare it to the LCHE edition when it was 1200 units verse 5000 250's, plus the announced end of an era verse the beginning. I paid MSRP as I didn't want to wait but never would have paid a dollar over. Trying to flip something comes with risks. I never saw the 250 as a good candidate for such.

I never agreed with those statements. Mainly by the so-called auto journalists. What is curious to me is the FE limit of 5000. It looks more than that to me, giving how easy it is to buy one these days, but I have heard that same number.

Those who were trying to flip these, i assume also tried to flip the Acura Type S.

So many bag holders.

5000 was the published number for North America.
The FE was never really appealing to me with rock rails that are not sliders. A roof rack that is MEH. If they would have given it something like a front locker, factory snorkel and some upgraded suspension components then I would have stepped up.
