Mine goes in Thursday for the dealership to try and replicate the buzz/rattle/however you describe it noise.

I’ll report back what they find or don’t. Hopefully it’s an easy fix.

Is this issue one where when the car is in drive, but foot on the brake, there is a vibration (occasionally)...a rumble...that comes from the passenger side? I have that going on. Once I take my foot off the break or put into neutral, the noise stops. It's not consistent either. I have noticed it when the engine is normal temp as well as cold.

Quick update. In my LC's engine bay, there's a cooler line behind the hybrid battery that sat too closely to the firewall. The techs adjusted it, and the sound is gone. I'll keep testing, but here's a photo of what I'm talking about. I'd check that area and see if that's what's causing your rattle.

I thought the hybrid battery was in the rear of the car. Which coolant line is it? Can you draw an arrow pointing to what was adjusted?

Unfortunately I couldn’t take the 250 in this week. I’ll be calling and setting up an appointment next week.

I, believe, it’s the same sound. I test drove 3 of them and all 3, on the test drives, were silent. I suspect I just didn’t notice the noise initially.

In any case, the dealership seems to be willing to identify the noise and then go from that point forward.

Oddly, some days it’s at every stop, some days not at all. Kind of annoying, like all the safety stuff that you can’t turn off, but I do like the vehicle

Exact same rattling sound on my brand new (300miles) lc. Rattle sounds from front of passenger side on cold start and when put in drive while stationary. Sound is gone or reduces to unnoticeable when I switch to nuetral.

This is my first toyota and I'm already doubting the quality on this thing. I'm hopeful but disappointed at the same time.

Same exact symptoms for me as well. I couldn't find anything in the area of the cooling lines behind the hybrid system that seemed to be making contact that could cause a rattle, but I discovered that the plastic cover up front that covers the width of the engine bay over the radiator rattled quite a bit when i banged on it with my fingers or fist. I removed it which takes about 1 minute and voila [fingers crossed] no rattle for two days. I'm fairly confident that might be the problem for me and i hope it is for some of you since it should be easy to remedy. I just need to decide how I want to stop the cover from rattling. I'm thinking of lining the underside with something like Dynamat or stick on some strategically placed rubber strips.

Hello, when you say coolant hose, is this the one you mean? Sorry, I am just wanting to know. I’ve taken it to the dealership twice and they can’t seem to replicate the sound but as soon as I drive off there goes the sound again ): so i’m gonna try to mess with it myself

I'm 90% sure that's the correct fix for me as well. I couldn't replicate the rattle in my garage, but I do see where the metal hose/adapter piece is contacting the firewall and made slight wear in the paint. I didn't have any tools that fit back there to adjust the hose positions. I used some zip ties for now and I haven't heard the noise after a short drive. I scheduled an appointment for Thursday to have them try to adjust it. I'll report back, but so far it's looking like the same fix as yours.
Hello, do you happen to have any pictures of where you put the zip ties? I want to see which hose exactly is doing this so I can bring it up to the dealer. I would appreciate it

Hello all! I am having the same issue with my new LC. Dealer was not successful in locating the cause, but it sounds exactly as the vibration noise in this tread. Could anyone provide and detail (if available) to the specific hose/line that is hitting the firewall or which heater hose bracket would benefit from a foam washer? I am having difficulty myself locating the hose that is vibrating. Any help is appreciated.

No issue here, fwiw. 2025 LC250 3,100 miles
