Hey guys,

NST Spec's 1.5 body lift just arrived, and a last minute trip to CO this next week with the family has me thinking I'll slap the body lift on and some new meats under it for the trip. Does anybody know what the largest tire is I can run with the 1.5" body lift only? I won't have time to trim fenders and cut body mounts before this trip, so just largest tire that would fit on the stock 20" wheels with the 1.5" body would be really helpful. It's a 2013 LX 570 with currently no adjustment to the AHC, and honestly I'd prefer to not adjust to the highest setting to maintain stock ride quality.

Any 33”
34” - Seems you could run a 34” and probably not have to do much if any plastic work in the front wheel wells.
35” - probably have to take the mud flaps off front and rear. About 30 min of work pushing the front fender liners forward and moving the metal side step bracket behind the front wheels

All the above assumes you get a spacer to provide some clearance to the upper control arm. I’m not sure how tall you can get at stock offset before the tire is in the control arm. Maybe it isn’t an issue, but 7 years ago when I was looking at it I thought it would be, so I got 1 inch spacers.

Yeah, I'm considering a Toyo Open Country R/T Pro in LT275/65R20 or 35X11.50R20LT ideally. I wonder if the 34.1x11" LT 275/65R20 would even fit without the body lift.

Would fit just fine with some front plastic adjustment, no body lift requried. I had 285/75r18 for a while which are basically a 35x11.5 and just did the standard front wheel well liner mod, mudflap removal and mudflap bracket bending. Not much work at all, and the work I did to fit the skinny 35's proved to be adequate for fat 35's too. I don't think the body lift will necessarily help completely, as you'll still probably be hitting the same plastic parts when the suspension is fully compressed/flexed. BL would probably help avoid rubbing in normal driving around scenarios though.

Really if you want to get into 34-35" tire territory, just do the front wheel well mods. They're not hard or time consuming. No cutting really needed, just "rearranging." Body mount chop wont be necessary for 35's with stock suspension (this assumes enough caster dialed into your alignment). I have plenty of clearance at the body mount on 35x12.5 Mickey Thompsons with completely stock suspension. That's my $.02

I did use a 1" spacer with the OEM wheels. I don't know if it was truly necessary since I never tried without the spacer.

I might be as close to what you requested.

20” wheels (25mm offset)
285/65/20 Toyo AT3
NST 1” body lift

Just trimming, massaging and relocating some of the inner fender pieces.

Looks great! No adjustment to ahc? Do you know how the +25mm relates to the stock wheel backspacing, by chance?

Yes, it does have an AHC sensor lift but those pics are in normal mode. But with you 1.5” BL vs my 1”, the differential should be less since your AHC are still stock.

No rub with rear tires.
Front tires rubbed rear flap which is easily removed. No rubbing on body mount
Front tires rubbed front flap notably. I followed @TeCKis300 instructions for moving the fronts forward ~1” and frankly that was quicker and easier than working them with a heat gun.

Factory 21” wheel is 54mm offset I believe, so the different with my 25mm should be 30mm or about 1.2” (feel free to fact check me)

Is that with no lift I’m assuming? Which fenderwell did it rub?

These sizes are an easy fit on an LX without a body lift. Curious as to why you are bothering with it. You also don't need to adjust your sensors—suspension lift doesn't impact fitment like you think. The body lift is different, it creates more space in the wheel well but again, 35s dont really need it.

100%.
It just looks better :)

275 and 285s are snore for the LX.

Look at 305/55r20s at 33.2" tall or 295/60r20 at 33.9" tall. Both should just about drop in with minor plastic work. Maybe a bit more caster in alignment to pull the tire forward against the body mount.

You'll want a 1" spacer. Only partly for UCA clearance. More to correct for geometry, scrub radius, and stability with a wider track.

Depending on how you drive, may wang to upgrade the brake pads.

295/60r20 is just about equivalent to a 295/70r18 in fitment. This thread should help.
