I ordered 2 sets of seat extensions from LandTank for my LX450. My problem is........I cannot install them. HELP...I live in Houston, Tx.....does anyone know where or who I could get to install them? And what should I expect to pay to have it done? (both front seats) I appreciate any help!!!!!

thats no excuse! :flipoff2::D

like monkey said...try someone in the LS crew. im sure its just a matter of re & re of the front seats..shouldnt be too difficult to coerce one of those boys to help ya out. whisper some sweet nothings into their ear..and im sure they'll be glad to help. maybe you can offer to let them keep whatever change they find under there...

She bought two kits from me and I suggested she post here for some help. I've sold a bunch of these and am hoping someone can help her out who has already done the mod. If you haven't done the mod but am on the fence about helping out I can e-mail the instructions so you will have a better idea of what's involved.

Doing two seats at once cuts down the install time and I can probably do it in 2 hours, but I've done a few.

Thanks for the help!

Are these a newer production lot or NOS?

I can't do the installation b/c I'm a girl with a nice manicure.

LOL, touche. I installed them on mine, loved them, world of difference.

Reach out to your local club, someone there will surely help you out. And probably hit on you too. Fair warning. :flipoff2:

Thanks guys.....I put a message on LS Crew, took a minute to figure out what Lone Star was, LOL!!! New to this!!!!

Great mod for tall folks. Stay away from the dealer. It is not very difficult to do just some drilling and grinding. I would print out the directions and go to a small local machine shop or any type of service place let them review the instructions and see if they will do it for X amount of money. Get there rate per hour say 50 to 80 bucks. Should only take 2-3 hours tops do not pay a fortune for this install it is really easy.

I'm willing to bet there is a mudder around the Houston, Tx area who is willing to help this 'gal out on a weekend w/o the hourly labor charge.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I have a feeling :grinpimp:
