I made this youTube video of my 1st Landtank seat bracket install.
It was a lot of work, but worth it. If I was doing it again it would go faster.
Thanks to LandTank and all the work that went into the design and build of this bracket.
It does make you sit a bit higher, and the seat leans back a little bit. I personally like to sit back up straight and seat flat most of the time , but I was able to compensate by adjusting the seat as much a possible to make up for the difference. I'm 5'-11' tall. A taller person is REALLY going to like this bracket set up.
I also did the Gamitivi gears and white cap for the gear drive in the electric seats.
The Landtank bracket is only for the leather electric seats, not applicable for the fabric seats.
20 min. video

Just ordered mine, thanks for the video

nice vid! great explanation.

For those that have done this mod. Have i bent these rails removing them or are they not straight by design? Thanks for replying

They flair out towards the ends instead of being flat / straight against each other when i hold them flush against one another @NLXTACY @landtank

anybody know the answer?

I've never noticed that with these rails but also haven't looked for it. Unless you really beat the hell out of them sliding them out that would have to be how they were. Otherwise I can't imagine how they got bent.

Here it the control side rail on the flat table. The end where the foot is taken off curves upward.

One would think the rails should be flat as is the track they slide in. Doesnt really show itself until the both bearings are in. I have no
Problem getting the front or rear bearing in by themselves. Try to put both in as it should be and it jams up. Cleaned all the parts and sanded the tracks a bit. Still no smooth slide.

Think this is time for heat and manipulation to straighten?

Thank you

Carefully Beat into submission
Thanks @landtank
