Its been a really long time since the last update but there have been a flood of folks with cracked MAF housings lately so I'm happy to report that these are done and ready to go.

This CNC aluminum MAF assembly physically replaces the stock plastic MAF sensor in your 1995-1997 Toyota Land Cruiser or Lexus LX450. It utilizes a newer style MAF sensor found in many later model Toyota and Lexus vehicles but DOES require changing the wiring order at the sensor plug to work correctly with the engine’s ECU. Once installed it will work seamlessly with the vehicle to provide better "Tip-in Throttle" response, smoother shifting, smoother idling and other possible improvements depending on condition of the MAF sensor it is replacing.

Included:
• CNC'd MAF housing and gasket O-ring
• New Toyota sensor and screws
• New Air Straightener

Nice! Is there a lip to hold the straightener in place, or is it snug enough I can put a straightener in my current Landtank MAF? This is of course, if you are offering them separately...

Never mind, just read the instructions on your site. That does beg the question, can I get the straightener by itself?

the previous MAFs extended into the area where the air straightener resides. The housing would need to be machined to remove that area to then allow the straightener to be installed.

I will not be offering this service but can supply an air straightener to those who have it done.

I read through the instructions and am curious why the air straightener come installed? It is hard to booger up?

93-94 is a VAF which would need more than just a MAF replacement but if a kit COULD be made, this would be part of it. :hmm:
If you decide to go down that rabbit hole. I’m in. I’m just jealous. All of the cool stuff ( turbo/supercharger etc) won’t work on my 80.

The straightener goes into the outlet of the air cleaner housing not the MAF.
Ah, when I said "read", I may have exaggerated. ;)

I just installed mine. Outstanding quality as always from Wits End/LANDTANK. Install was super easy. Re-pinning the wires went smoothly as well. My truck fired right up with no CEL's and idled smooth as ever. Only thing missing in the package were the Wits End stickers! ;)

is it best practice to just go ahead and buy a new oem connector or overkill?

thanks.

"if you need a new housing for this connector the Toyota part number is 90980-11317"

Hmm...I’ll make that happen.

Probably because you use the J*** word in your username. 🤣 :p🤣

JK, everybody wants the swag.

Unless it’s a big ol’ C-n-B scrawled on the box (one of my parts guys does this, so it could be worse 🤪 )
