I recently tested my bottle jack. It worked fine for the rear axle, but when I lifted at the exact factory recommended point on the front, with the bottle jack maxed out, the tire was still on the ground. This was on a slight upward incline. The stock tire is 31.2," 31.5" on the LC, and a LT285/70/17 is between 32.7 and 32.8". So I will put some 6" plywood squares in my truck to put under the bottle jack. (The alternating layers of wood fibers of the plywood makes it much stronger than regular wood). Here's an example on a 28,000 pound motorhome.
Any other PSAs you have discovered over the course of owning your LC/LX? (14 months for me)
